But we know he'd never do those things? If anything, he's just a really smart and mature child now. People in real life can have the mentality and/or knowledge of someone much older while still being under the age of 18 so I personally don't really see an issue, I do understand your point though.

The thing i meant is just because he has memories of his past life doesn't make the relationship pedo. Just like how you couldn't say pedo to tess, she might be living a second life without memories from the past

I get your logic behind it but a male man way older than her is still gross as he is still an adult, it doesn't matter that his age in that universe is around Tess' age as he has the working mind of an adult and is weirded out about dating a minor, that's why the author put the scene about having Art and Tess wait until she is an adult so he wouldn't have so much guilt and worry about dating a MINOR when he is technically an ADULT, although it's funny and cute to see Tess crush on Art there is still concerning points that I just pointed out in my POV, this probably won't change your view as it is my opinion.

yeah I know he waits but I just get really riled up when people normalize reincarnated adults dating minors, it just rubs me the wrong way, and its kind of sad because a lot of reincarnation and isekai have romance in it normalizing the mental age gaps ╥﹏╥

To be fair, it would be even weirder if he got with someone the same age as his mental age because that would mean they were quite literally a pedo going after a child since they don't know about his reincarnation. In these situations, the character only has two options when it comes to seeing someone. A pedo who is mentally the same age as them, or a child who is physically the same age as them. I'd definitely prefer if they go with the second option (not that I'm saying either of these are good options, they both make me a bit uncomfortable) cause atleast with the second one I can just think of the MC as a mature and knowledgeable child since they are now living the life of a child anyway.

I see where people are coming from,, but if people take it literally then Arthur’s body is the same age as everyone else’s which is like 13-14 as of right now while his mental age is around 42 as well as his real life experience. The same can be said for children who are the same age who had to mature due to their experiences or the people they grew up around, my friend who is 14 has the mental age of a person in their late 30s but if she were to date someone their age it wouldn’t be weird

Exactly, that's usually how I think of it as well. Even in the real world some kids are forced to mature at a young age for one reason or another so logically speaking, he would just be a really mature kid.
