Tbh, all the characters on here are shitty. The dad is ruthless enough to kill his two kids without mercy, the mc only cares about avenging his sister while ruthlessly killing others that gets in his way (just like the saying goes "like father like son" (＊￣︶￣＊). The humans are just a bunch of hypocrites that think it's for justice. Well, it kinda is but you know how there's always a good and bad in everything. A world without crime would be unbalanced if you know what I mean and Vampires need blood for survival, the same way we humans kill animal for food. We don't think much of it since animals can't talk, their intelligence are not the same as human and they have no ability to fight back. Perfect description of what you called a prey that is meant to be feast on so Vampires aren't really not different. Plus If Vampires are raised properly since birth , they can learn to be civilized and work along side human. Humans thinks vampires are cruel for killing innocent people when humans themselves, shows no mercy when killing an elderly or a child. As for the The mother, she had good intentions but did it in the wrong way, she forced her son to drink her blood knowing that she would die. Has she ever thought of the outcome, the son is left traumatised because of it. No one would want to be in that situation for having to kill your own mother.
