Is it possible that the uncle committed suicide? There are so few comments so idk if people also thought that but that was what first came to mind. He seems depressed (“Why does writing these words feel so painful?” And “I should close my eyes,” when looking at Kazu, who is bright). Added to the fact that he fell off a cliff (tripped) while it was raining…
