Ok but charlotte isn't Jeffrey's superior?! He has absolutely no obligation to follow her every whim. Sure they are friends, friends with a long past and obviously he cares for her , but it doesn't mean he has to endanger his kingdom for her. Just like how she has experience and knowledge, so does he. Dont undermine his character just because charlotte is the main character.
