what i dont understand is why the hell she's not doing her work as a maid lol because that's hella annoying
because she cant. She's constantly being called to "drink tea" with the empress(basically serve the empress) or forced to hang out with the prince. Technically in a way she is doing her job by serving the empress and obeying the prince, but to outsiders, it just looks like shes having fun off work. But she isnt, because nobody has fun when u have to serve/lunch with ur superior and fake being nice to ur creepy superior who forces u on dates. In modern times, this would be considered workplace harassment and sexual harassment.

She's the one playing victim. She takes advantage her relationship with the crown prince and Empress. So She can live comfortably without worrying abt poverty like in the past with his mother. So she only turn a blind eyes abt MC crying in the back over her situation. She at least can try to ask the crown prince that she love to Annul his engagement first before being in relationship with her or avoid him for the meantime. I'm sorry but I disagree. Helena and Eris are both victims. Helena should ask the crown prince to annul the engagement? If you think so, why wouldn't the crown prince done that long back? The real reason he can't annul the engagement is because the MC's family background is very important for him to get the throne. And moreover, Helena and Cp are NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP. It's one sided from the prince who is abusing his authority. And Helena doesn't even like cp.
