I don’t know, maybe I’m being optimistic but I think maybe the dad is actually the loving type that does things that might come across as ‘evil’ but is actually the over-loving type.
Like you know does fathers in manga’s that say things that push the wrong buttons of others but they say it because they know how it will impact the other person and they want them to evolve into that personality so they don’t make it easy.
Like his dad at the end of the day is the CEO and so he need to teach his son all the hush side of life cause if he doesn’t then his employers will later walk all over him?
I don’t know maybe I be wrong later but I just get the vibe that this dad is the supportive type that actually liked the fact the girl stood up to him and so he called it out to her of what she also needs to expect in her future and person she needs to become in order to support his son.
