From what I’ve seen in spoilers, apparently, even in the current chapters of the novel, he still does not know
He does know now, I've forgotten what chapter but it's in the comment sections. And tbh I hope that they actually portray every detail of it because if they dont that just such a waste. Because I know the webtoon summarises and it's understandable but this is one thing I wan the details on and multiple chapters on.
