I do think there are some comments that are a bit too harsh on the uke and lack compassion. However, it is possible to be empathetic and understand why a person does something, while still being critical about it.
Is the uke a victim? Absolutely yes.
Were his decisions and actions a result of his many traumas? Very much so.
Does that excuse him of the terrible things he did to the seme? No, it doesn't.
We know the root of the problem, but it doesn't change the fact that many awful things were said and done.

I just don't understand humans...
Imagine being mad at a victim because he was doing something to protect himself...
There's a big chance he had PTSD
Since he was a child he started pretending being someone who he isn't just so that his own mom will care for him...
He needed to pretend to be a girl all those years...
He thought it will be better but the mom still find him disgusting....
When he finally thought he found someone who really cares for him it turns out that, that someone was actually just playing with his feelings...
The person he thought who was gonna be there for him was actually just a fucking bastard that needs to be castrated....
He slept around with alot of people not caring who it is just so he could forget him But it didn't work...
It was already yrs later but he's still fucking scared of falling for someone...
That shit was Traumatic for him and honestly anyone who experienced the same thing he did will probably turn the same way as him...
And then BOOM
He realized seme actually liked him.
And the seme confesses.
But he was afraid that the past will repeat itself and leave him all hurt that's why he didn't want it at first...
When he finally said yes he was even more afraid because he was actually already falling and seme said things that are similar to what his ex said so he remembered his past and made him even more afraid...
Can y'all really not understand just how much he has been through?
Is it really that hard to understand the fact that he has been hurt so much he was okay with just anyone...

Maybe it's because I tend to think too much and is really empathetic to every single character I read that's why It hurts me so much how people are just indifferent about his pain or y'all are actually just victim blaming him...
