Mary is someone who is very thankful to cale (and raon) for showing her the world and admires them (cale's family). I don't see any spark between cale and mary that's why i don't ship them but idk what others see lol

Alberu is not a good guy nor a bad guy, he is a leader that knows how to use things for his advantages and for the benefit of the kingdom. actually the MC didn't want to interact with him at first because, Cale and Alberu has the same personality, that's why he knows how Alberu thinks. Alberu actually want to remove his brothers because he knows they will not lead their kingdom properly ^^ his past is slowly explained in the novel too
