I really liked this chapter. Finally good psychological aspects and more character development. However im surprised, confused and a bit sad that Tatara seems to hate Hyoudou and doesnt want to deal with him... or did i misunderstood?

I thought the same thing! I reread it a couple of times because I didn't understand. I never got the impression he hated him.

I think its more of the fact that he’s jealous and mad at himself because he’s trying to better himself and get his skills down but seeing Hyoudou kind of discourages him? Like when you’re put next to someone who is good at things so you’re automatically always compared to them to the point where you compare yourself to them before others do after a while and you start to hate it? Kind of like that but idrk which chp you’re talking about so it could really be something else because I’ve never really sensed that from Tatara. He just usually feels inferior bc everybody else is already better than him

Omg thanks for replying to my comment - thanks to it I got to know that comment section is back. I'm so happy (⌒▽⌒). I meant ch60 where he basically says that he hates hyoudou:(

Hehe. I was trying to wake everyone up here so i could talk about the series. And oh. I think Tatara meant that he didn’t “like” him in a way that Hyoudou’s competitive nature clashed with how Tatara only wanted to get closer to everyone because he had no friends and that Hyoudou’s need to make it about dancing just got in the way of that? Its not that he doesn’t like him, but Tatara’s focus at that time was not about actually liking him or being better than
him, it was about him trying to live a normal teen life but Hyoudou always finds a way to make it about dancing?!?! Does that make sense? Because not long after that Tatara admits that he started to dedicate himself to dancing because he wasn’t so lonely anymore and didn’t want to leave out of fear that he would no longer have friends. And that that was his current struggle with himself and Chinatsu bc he thinks he doesn’t deserve to dance anymore bc he used it as a way to meet new people instead if trying to meet new people through more normal means, like speaking to others at school and stuff like that.
