Literally my same thought but then I remembered hybridization in biology, where the offspring is sterile. For example, a horse and donkey could have a mule but that mule can't reproduce so I guess this could fall under this concept.

Hold up it’s just my theory but anyways if he’s a half blood then that means his mom had sex with someone who wasn’t from the clan and got pregnant so wouldn’t that means it’s possible for them to have a child too
