youre correct on the second part. it has been stated that it is hard for anyone of the taran family (dukes family) to have a child with someone outside of the bloodline and the process for it is long and strict. it has also been stated that the child is not the dukes, but the dukes brother!

So, I dropped this in middle and now I want to know is that child really the duke's son cause I remember once something like the duke can't have child or something the process is hard welll I forgot so can anyone maybe please inform me where we are..?
