Onodera's gender is really ambiguous, as far as I'm aware it hasn't been stated either way in the raws, I believe they're always just called "director" by all the staff at the animal hospital. I always thought they were a woman but a lot of readers think that they may be a guy, it hasn't been clarified either way yet I don't think so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
But on page 12, chapter 8 there is clearly written "he" so he must be a guy. Or am i wrong?
Yeah i saw that too ,but with long i thought director might be a girl .and in previous chapters it was said that all the doctors were women

I could be wrong but from what I understand the original Japanese text never clarifies Onodera's gender either way. A lot of readers assume that they're male (the reason I see cited a lot is because of how flat their chest is) but I don't think we really have much evidence to support it either way?
This is why i was confused about it.
