I think that he could only do that with the other magic that is not the demon's blood part. In the last chapter he was saying how he struggled because it wasn't limitless.
HE HIDES THAT DIFFERENT COLORED EYE. WHY? WILL HE BE EXPOSED AS A DEMON? I KNOW HE WEARS THAT EARRING TO HELP MASK HIMSELF. ALSO YOU THINK THAT DEMON COULD HEAL HIS BODY A BIT!!
