I have been there as well but I enjoyed wearing it cuz I could wear what I liked under and i didnt feel uncomfortable walking in front of any guys.
guys usually cat call when I walk with my friends but when I was there no guys did that to me or my family so I was really happy :-) cuz it makes me so uncomfortable when they
do it
I see. I usually just wear jeans, a T-shirt and a jacket. It must suck to be cat called. You see it is hard to wear it with a wet suit.
I have been to Saudi Arabia in the city of Jeddah last year to scuba dive. I really HATED wearing a abaya (black cloak) since all over the world it is not needed and we can dress in whatever we want. In Saudi, it is a must for all woman. However, not need to cover my head but body must be covered unless it was at the private beaches where we scuba dived. There you can go without the abaya (behind 3 meter walls and all).
