Well I dont think its that bad, He is timid thats the point some ppl just don't magically get over that, which is really understanable.
Look I get it, its so slow burn and looks dumb asf but then that just means you dislike so much characters that are timid (most of this critics are especially hard on soft boys).
bestie i pointed out in the comment that he has self esteem and yes hes "timid," but that didn't end my criticism, i also stated how he is still grasping on that "relationship" they have even though she basically ignored him for what 2 weeks? no text nor phone calls. Because to me and 17 others it somehow turning into a one sided relationship with a little hint of toxicity in it.
I didn't attack his personality because i know that feeling, where you just cower in fear because of other's presence. Im a fudanshi so i encountered different types of male personae while reading, and soft boys are no exceptions. I love their personality and such but my point did not revolve around that. I talked about his mindset and how he handles things, which is clearly not that favourable in my opinion.
seriously im mad af on what is happening rn...like the ml is lit becoming a push over. No character development whatsoever. The way he is portrayed makes me super mad, like i know he has a low self esteem and had a crush on the girl but i hope he's not that dumb to notice how the rs is becoming toxic as chapters go by...now i have my suspicion on the girl's motive of her accepting his confession, it's either she felt pity on him or other ulterior motive...argh this is making me so frustrated...
