I can totally see where you're coming from! (/TДT)/ I personally love 'ABO' or alpha-beta-omega tropes because 50% of it is totally problematic and reinforcing a lot of fucked up patriarchal, rape culture values. The other 50% is some of the most insightful, subversive social commentary I’ve ever read on gender identity/gender roles/queer oppression.
Sort of like my feelings for Harada's works, her shit is pretty fucked up, but it's sooo fascinating at the same time. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I like my Yaoi being a " forbidden love" something not natural nor approved by anyone. I don't like Omegaverse either, it kills the whole homosexual thing. So I agree with you on that one

Alpha/omega stuff can kinda suck at the romance part, especially when it's like this where a beta is such a good match...
but at the same time I think I like the part of them being unable to resist and giving in to the love/lust x)
It's similar to reading soul mate stories... or stories with tentacles in them...
It all depends on what I feel like reading that day.

In Omegaverse, Omegas have it in their genes to care and be cared for by Alphas. Needing a mate is sort of like needing water or food, that's how their body's natural physiology works. You can't just stop needing water, right? The beautiful thing about this manga is that Sensei is challenging that standard; by pairing Beta and Omega, she's making it so that love exceeds gender norms. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
It's seems many prefer this kind of story but I however don't like it because I think everyone should be able to choose their own partners. Omega has no choice but to submit to alpha and this manga just plain out showing the reason I hate this type of world. Because omega beta can never truly be happy together. Omega would only be able to supress his moment of heat when he found his fated one but they have to be an alpha. Which sux.
