Same, DoWon is really well written as a talented, well adjusted, mature adult and not a fucking man-child with too much money, power and time on his hands that doesn't know or care how to process emotions like a normal person. Who understands consent and boundaries (he pushes boundaries but knows when to back off), he straight up says that he doesn't want to pressure Beom into dating him. He has intense feelings but knows how to restrain himself. He's said alot of things he shouldn't have but realized it and apologized, he also doesn't blame others for his actions/lack of impulse control like a plethora of other assholes. I've been consuming Yaoi since high school (I'm 33) and the only worthwhile semes that really I've come are aside from Sa DoWon are just to name a few, Caius from The Titan's Bride, Qu Cheng from Deliverance of the counterattack, Jing Shao from The Wife is First, Lee Bin, Lee Hwa and Khakia from Blood Link, Lan WangJifrom MDZS, Hua Cheng from TGCF, Wu Xi from Qi Ye and Wen Ke Xing from Tian Ya Ke. Pretty much all the others are basically rotten hot garbage juice.

*Spoilers abound*
Aside from the ones I've listed there are really aren't that many that I've come across that have semes that are decent/learn from their mistakes and become decent but Kiraide Isasete, Dakaretai Otoko Ichii ni Odosarete Imasu and BJ Alex are pretty good even the semes aren't really the best to start out with given that Chuunta rapes Takato in the first chapter and later gaslights him when he thinks that Takato got drunk and slept with another man not to mention that is kinda yandere, pushy and a bonafide stalker. And Alex basically treats DG like a sex toy for most of the story (even though DG does consent to a no strings attached agreement)and assaults him sexually on more than one occasion out of jealousy, Date With A Vampire even though the story starts out with SooIn trapped in a long term deeply abusive relationship on every level with his homophobic gay ex best friend and Love In the Underworld. Viewfinder, rape and dubious consent are very prevalent in the earlier chapters but in the most recent chapters Asami did get shot multiple times while using his body as a shield protecting Akihito. I highly recommend the ones in my earlier comment though.
I love how he so easily and calmly realized his feeling for him, that's a really nice change from seeing people having to go through a bunch of crazy stuff to realize that they have feelings for a person
