If i was in his position and some fake came and took my big sis’s place, then said she wish my big sis wouldn’t come back would be just as upset, but he did go too far. Honestly, i think the killing part was just a drastic part of the game, i don’t think it was HIS nor DEREK’s doing. But she’s innocent, he should be directing his anger at the Duke not Penelope, but obviously her actions later after the necklace incident were not right. I’d be upset too, her wishing that tho was because she didn’t want to go back to the streets, to the house that held her dead mother and to the very same streets she had to stand at and wait for food to be thrown out. Her only options would had been to be a prostitute or a maid.
But obviously his anger is understandable because he didn’t know her struggles. All he knew was some girl replacing their sister and he didn’t like that she wished for the real one not to come back because at the end of the day it was harsh to think that, but who wouldn’t? I just don’t like how he didn’t have some sort of resentment towards his father.
