EUGENE DESERVE BETTER

[ENDGAME SPOILER] exactly!! we spent an entire season just getting to know the second male lead (Eugene) and cain and she actually had a connection with them. Even while reading the book, she loved them a lot. Her attachment to them while reading was stronger than her attachment to dan so seeing him being endgame is already 'huh' bc of that. On top of that...there's just no connection. I see them together and I'm just like "oh cool ig". It honestly seems so forced. I would rather she end up with Eug but honestly a reverse harem ending makes more sense than her ending up with Dan.

Ik this is gonna sound dumb please ignore it if it is but I was thinking maybe Dan is the ml bcuz he had no connection to Ariel,the original fl. Tbh my favorite character in this whole fiasco is the original Litia, she’s simply so charming so as much as I like all these characters, I don’t like them at the same time bcuz they didn’t even try to get to know the original Litia. Ik I’m being biased and she was the villainess of the story but we’ve seen from her memories that she was simply misunderstood and there was something wrong with both of her families and they didn’t love her whatsoever. Now that Litia has changed, all of them are suddenly interested in her. I understand why they are I really do since our fl isn’t Litia anymore and she’s allowed to do whatever she wants bcuz it’s her life but I can’t help but feel salty for the original who had such a miserable ending. So whether she ends up with Eugene or Cain or Dan, who cares.

That isn't dumb at all and I get what you're saying. My main ick with this story is Og Litia and reincarnated Litia. I prefer original litia and I just found it kinda ironic how this girl didn't like Ariel but her personality is literally the exact same as Ariel's. She's literally Ariel 2.0. I also didn't like the way they were to Litia but I also get that her actions were really bad and I'm only saying this because I know her side. At the same time though, even when she was a kid, people said stuff about her because she was "too cold". That's honestly such a stupid reason to hate someone. Like she was just a regular kid that they hated on for being "too cold". Then you have ariel who just went around smiling and making people fall in love with her (because she's so sweet and warm or whatever) and our fl does the exact same thing. Don't get me wrong, i don't hate our fl or anything but it just feels like she's ariel but in a different version. Honestly in terms of ships...I'm in this weird limbo where I don't really ship her with anyone but her being with Dan just doesn't make sense bc they have literally no chemistry what so ever.....like he gives distant brother or male friend energy. My favorite male character is cain because he honestly didn't do much. Like he never did anything whack or hated litia (if my memory serves me correctly). He just kinda existed and he's really sweet and I like guys with his personality (well i have a variety of personalities that I like but his is one of them). Overall my favorite character is 100% without a doubt....OG LITIA so i'm with you on that. She was such a cool character and I wish we could've gotten to see more of her or at least had a fl with a similar personality (at the very least a fl with a personality that wasn't exactly like ariel whom she supposedly hates).

Omg yesss!! I’m so glad you understand!! I’ve noticed that as well, she befriended everyone around her so easily and it really annoyed me bcuz they thought about how the original Litia was and didn’t find it weird that this Litia is showing so much emotion. Tbh they all hated the real one cuz she was cold and ignored her circumstances and I definitely agree with your point on that one. Even irl you don’t see people randomly go to somebody all happy and smiley and befriend them, at least not in my personal experiences. I would definitely agree with Cain being the ml as well cuz he wanted Og Litia to become the empress. He chose to help our fl bcuz he wanted to convince her to rule the empire and that honestly would’ve been such a cool story. Maybe if the og Litia was given the chance to live again, she would’ve changed many things around her. I understand our female lead’s intentions but at the end of the day, they’re only with her bcuz they got interested in the sudden change of demeanor and suddenly care for her. Even the crown prince who’s supposed to hate her is getting warmer. Ugh the og deserves so much better, it would suck if she just simply disappeared after our fl gets all her memories. Ohhh and lastly we still don’t know much about the og Litia, I don’t think she was actually a villainess, she was most likely made to be a villainess by people around her. The og Litia knew she had the illness and she didn’t have much time so I really don’t understand why she’d wanna mess with Ariel of all people. They were all just so infatuated with Ariel that they killed each other or sacrificed each other, it’s honestly very odd behavior except Daniel of course. I don’t hate Dan too much cuz we barely know anything about him, if the og Litia was still alive I really wouldn’t have minded Dan being the ml since villainess+villain= chaos and I like that trope. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
