Actually, from what the butler said about him never showing his true feelings, I think there's more to him than what we see. I don't think it will completely excuse him, but it might show some more insight into why he acted the way he did instead of him just being a complete asshole for no reason.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t like the blonde girl but the one I truly despise is the father. Think about it this way, time did get reversed and MC did come back with ALL memories, but so did the father but bit by bit, what if he didn’t get those memories in his “nightmare”? He’d stay the complete POS he was back then. He isn’t changing because MC changed, but because those memories from that dream haunt him and it was imprinted in his soul causing physical pain. He would be the exact same if he didn’t have that dream and his reaction in the beginning of the story to MC telling him that she will stop morning greetings would have been completely different as does his other reactions later on. It’s clear he’ll be forgiven but damn do i want him dead.
