I've read too much of shoujos where MCs gave up so much time and energy to be with someone and not getting the same energy back when they got together that when i see overly invested mcs and so much effort given to a relationship that might never happen (even though it's clear to us readers that it will happen) like, from the mc's pov themselves it's kinda impossible. it suck ass unless i see the same amount of effort given back from the partner, i jjst can't help but hate it. so i hope ML will be cherishing mc and will be pinning for her as much as she does for him. pls i just can't-
