Just the ending spoilers for the novel. Please correct or add onto the spoilers.




So, after Mielle pushes her father down, she screams and accuses of Aria pushing him down. However, Asterope appears before the rest of the house is able to come. This is because Asterope’s bracelet that he gave her breaks (you can see is breaking in the last few panels). This triggered Asterope because the bracelet has powers that can alert him to Aria being in danger and he’ll teleport to her. So, he teleports to be and takes her away. This caused Mielle to be left behind at the scene, as the rest of the servants, family, and guests come.

Asterope surprises Aria and she tells him what happened. And he reassures her that everything will be okay. So, he takes her to this “safe point” in his teleportation and they pretend to buy jewelry and re-buy the same bracelet that broke. The safe-point they’re at is very, very far (close to the boarder of the two kingdoms). And Aria is confused as to why they’re buying jewelry and buying another version of the bracelet. So, he reassures her that he believes she didn’t push the count down. And that the jewelry is for “insurance.” So, once they go back into town, the knights and everyone is looking for Aria because Mielle “claims” she saw Aria push down the count and magically disappeared.

This ensues a whole court case to begin. Where they investigate Aria and Mielle. During the investigation, Mielle keeps insisting that Aria did it. However, since Aria was with Asterope at the boarder buying jewelry and was in hotels there, they had “receipts” to show that they weren’t at Aria’s house at the time of the crime. So, the jewelry from earlier worked as their proof of being far from the accident. Furthermore, since Aria bought a new bracelet similar to the one that broke, Mielle couldn’t use that against her either to show that Aria was at home. So, the court deemed Mielle crazy and the accident as her fault. She is sentenced for patricide and goes to jail and is to be executed.

After the court trial, things enter their last arc. As the count is paralyzed and is unconscious, Aria’s mother takes care of him. Aria and her mother are seen as saints because of the situation. Aria visits Mielle in the jail cell to cooperate with Mielle. Which Mielle stupidly believes. On top of that, Aria tells her mother to prepare for the worst and divorce the count. So, what happens is that they wait for the count to wake up. After he wakes up, Aria’s mother divorces him. And he’s very upset because his real daughter tried to kill him, his son is stupid, and the only people who really cared about him wasn’t his own blood. But, Aria and her mom is like “okay lol. Should’ve treated us better.”

And so, Aria, her mother, and the rest of the servants leave the house and move to a different place. This is because of Cain’s foolish acts as the head of the house.
After they move, it becomes the execution of Mielle. During the execution of Mielle, it is stopped because “someone” had petitioned to save Mielle. This someone turned out to be the orange haired maid of Aria’s. So, after they “saved” Mielle, Aria is hailed a Saint. This is because she saved the sister that tried to kill her and their father. Mielle comes to live with them in their new house as a maid. Mielle is upset at the treatment she is given and sucks up to Aria. Which is obviously something Aria wants. Mielle gets super upset one day because of the way she’s treated as a maid and devises a plan with Aria to kill the orange haired maid. The plan is to invite the orange maid to drink this tea and poison her. However, during the tea party, Aria pretended that Mielle sent Cain an invitation. So, Cain comes and drinks the poison instead of the orange haired maid. Cain dies knowing that he got poisoned by Mielle. This causes Mielle to go into confusion because she meant the drink for the orange haired maid. And the orange haired maid points out that the cup Cain drank was actually Aria’s. So, they arrest Mielle and Mielle goes crazy. The rest of the kingdom hears about this and sided with Aria (the Saint).

During all of this time, Mielle keeps sending letters to Iris. Iris, however, doesn’t care because she is going to marry the prince of another kingdom. So, after the second time Mielle goes to jail, Iris is finally moving her plan to motion. This is stopped by the crown prince Asterope, because he’s actually best friends with the prince from the other kingdom. And so, their plan to revolt goes up into flames.

Both Mielle and Iris are executed together (? They might have been executed at the same time or separately, either way they dead). And things end. BUT, during all of this as well, we find out about Aria’s father! The prince that got banished is actually her father! This explains why she has the turning-back time power and how she’s able to visit the fountain, exclusively only available to royal family. And he lives in the other kingdom! So, he re-enters their lives and tries to win over Aria’s mom. Which he does!!! And so, both the mom and daughter get a happy ending with their loved ones.

Side note: the story of Aria’s mother and father is very sad. As Aria’s father’s parents are being banished, he meets Aria’s mom as a prostitute. Spends time together and he promises to be back for her. However, when he tries to, he couldn’t find her and is forced to leave without her. However, her father and her grandparents NEVER gave up trying to find Aria’s mother. And when they do find out about Aria and see her, they knew instantly who she was because she looks very similar to her father.

There’s side story of their love life and how Aria goes to live in the other kingdom for a hot minute because she wants to be with her family (parents and grand-parents). After their time apart, they have their wedding! And finally get married after all the events.
