So when that incident happen, Aria's bracelet will break and took her to Asher's location (if im not mistaken, tbh im sorry but i forgot about the detail but the point is they met at that time because of the bracelet's power) and that bitchy sister then accusing Aria for an attempt of murdering their father. So the whole country were searching for Aria at that night, on the other hand, Aria and Asher were making an aliby that Aria wasn't at home when the father fell from the stairs. This incident was the planned by Mielle and her brother (even though her brother didnt really agree with that plan but fuck it he is so stupid and creepy lol i hate him). At the trial, the prince gave Aria new bracelet, to refute Mielle's testimony and evidence (Aria's old bracelet), and the witnesses (Mielle's friends at the tea party) then caught on lying as the trial goes by and then they turn their back on Mielle, saying that it was her who asked them to state their testimony (saying that Aria was the perpetrator)
