I didn't read the spoilers myself but I've been told that empress was depressed due to trapped in palace all these years and had to behave according to the court rules unlike how she freely grew up in her town. She was so unhappy she lost her will to live and she couldn't escape, so when she fall emperor didn't catch her in order to let her be free, and went mad because of it. I'm not sure but as far as I understand she didn't jump, but when she was falling she was kinda okay with it? Idk
any spoilers? i'm very confused...why would the emperor do that to her? he's scared if she goes to the sea, is she suicidal? or will she not want to come back? it's so dark whatever the reason tbh
