I think he could very easy but wouldn’t it be a bit weird if he did? I mean his boyfriend is unaware of his actual occupation and Ik just a regular person might not know how to get out of those so easily. I guess he could just lie and say he took classes for it or something or saw it online but considering he knows his boyfriend can see through most of his lies, I don’t personally think it’s worth the risk. Plus it looks like he’s letting it all happen willingly.
at this point he’s putting his mission at stake, so imo what the bf thinks shouldnt matter?? like looking at the options its “possibly failing very important mission” or “bf thinks im suspicious” like one is obviously much more important than the other, so im guessing he literally just cnat get out of them bc he cant be that stupid right? risking his job and LIFE to keep his bf unsuspicious and happy?
well he doesn't have to actually go on said mission until a week but I get what ur saying and totally agree, pushing aside his important matters shouldnt have even been a thought for him. He did mention that Esper probably knew he was fine which is why he wasn't in any struggle or panic to get out yet since his team is only obligated to really look for him once the week is over. Honestly the fact he even agreed to live with him for the rest of the week was dumb in itself, I don't really think he's got it in his head the realism of his situation or not enough anyways because yeah, he's raising his boyfriends happiness over his actual responsibilities.
there’s probably stuff that needs to be done before the mission as well thats why i think his decision just makes no sense, like maybe staying a day, but willingly being trapped until the day of the job??? he gon be running late bc of his own foolishness

He rlly needs to get it together, like you'd think he would stop and get out of there but he's just there, letting it happen.
