I’m not sure, we don’t know yet but like he is kind of poor ( all the « gifts » his roommates gave him maybe hurt his pride) so I feel like he became obsessed with his roommates. since he knows he is poor and that they will never have a real relationship he decided to blackmail him instead of coming clean with his feelings... not sure tho... that’s what I understood so far
