In March 2008, the Science Council of Japan proposed a ban on surrogacy and said that doctors, agents and their clients should be punished for commercial surrogacy arrangements. Other than that, it remains unregulated.

Bru just re read Ch1 and the whole bloodline issue came up. Dude this manga probably took place in the 2000s so there is surrogrates. Just pick a egg donor and donate your sperm boom instant baby. There is no need for sex. There there is the issue the they would be jealous of the baby mom if baby look more like mom. No problem if you dont raise the kid there is the grandfather or the other 0eople in family who want to raise the kid. Or if the bloodline is not an issue and still want to pass company or money just adopy a kid
