I am glad he got away from his abusive mother. It's tragic when a child has to be forced to 'grow up' because a parent is not willing to take responsibility and properly raise their child. I alike the ambiguity of the ending. It doesn't show us if he ever got back together with the seme, but I am also ok if he found a new love. I am glad he can genuinely smile again T_T
