Essentially her plan is for the Prince (king?) To get unbelievably sick after eating Ginger's food. That way either 1. She gets suspected for trying to harm him and 2 he will never be able to confidently eat her food again.

That way when the prince asks If she meant to make him sick and she says "no" he can't verify and will began to doubt everything since he is so use to being able to know for sure her true thoughts.
