I also have the suspicion something might have happened in red head's past...I mean perhaps it might have been his first kiss (doubt it) and yes it was with a man but why did he cry? Is it his personality? Could it be he's actually very sentimental? (≧∀≦)
I think it was his first kiss. Red seems to distrust people in general, he's the type of guy who doesn't let people become close to him, and he's still young, so I could imagine why he would not have had a girl/boyfriend yet, much less fallen in love. More than that, his innocent and shocked reactions are suggesting that he has no sexual experience (like when He Tian was touching his chest he was so nervous, even sweating a lot and he didin't knew how to react at first...) However, people have different sensibilities. (for example, some people cry with sad movies others not) Some girls may cry if a guy kisses them to harsh the first time, others may kiss him back like if they knew what to do, others may get offended and slap the guy... And I assume men are the same, some of them cry more easily than others...

I agree with another reader about Red Head having some trauma. I hope he doesn't get hurt again by He Tian's reckless actions and also doesn't hurt He Tian in the process. I know He Tian got a shock when Red Head stood up to him and full of bitterness at that.
