Why can't the FL be stronger and smarter than the dark-haired ML who literally forced himself on her? He literally assauled/attacked her because she catched his interests.
And I never feel comfortable to see a FL getting shipped with her past killer regardless why he did it. ╥﹏╥
Brooding cruel miserable royal MLs often with dark hair + blue red purple or golden eyes are always portrayed as easily superior than the struggling hardworking FL.
No matter how powerful she is, the ML often overshadows and undermines her（￣へ￣）
All she can do is keep up with him, impress him, charm him unintentionally and do emotional labor so he can be reformed at the end...
