To be fair, grade school kids can be pretty mean. Today’s standards are so horrible on body standards, and I actually like what the author is doing. He found a person who actually likes him for who he is, but also appreciates his looks and how he was as a child. The whole point is that there’s nothing wrong with being chubby or whatever, some people are just garbage or learn the wrong morals.

But mostly its true, i live on asia and i got bullied on grade school for years because of my body being fat, its so hellish experience for me and i still remember them even though im 25 y o now . My mental illness is not really good because traumatic experience

Ya that's why I want a story where they portrayed them normal yk I mean bully about that still happen this days, I love how this kind of stories spread awareness somehow..I have a lot of friends like that, and I'm happy that they are proud on who they are not minding some people's insult! So i really wanna share stories that they could feel comfort and motivated, stories where they normalized whoever you are fat or thin...
