Maybe his power is so great that he can tune back time and in every time line he did that for Lamia until she could survive
i was thinking everytime she died, he was forced back through a different timeline but yours makes much more sense
This entire season gave me no answers to the story except that the second prince has good magic and has vowed to lamia lots and lots of times. Hopefully next season has more flavor to it.
