nah the emperor has no idea about his past self so u can continue to read it, its worth it. the mc basically traveled back time, so the asshole emperor never exists in this story. the emperor this time knows about feelings - which the jin ppl wouldnt have, and cherishes and tries to make the mc fall for him ( which is not easy cause the mc is traumatized by the past emperor )

It really interesting how a person can be totally different in different timelines. In the end I believe we all learned our personalities. Cuz when you are baby and don't know anything how much persona you can have? You have to learn. I don't believe second chances for all humans. Like if you were thief and stole gems and stuff and regret and pay for it, it is okay. But if you are someone who killed for fun or a rapist who ruined peoples lifes I don't think that kind of persons deserves second chances.
For this webtoon if emperor doesn't remember his past self -Like Scum Villain - It is totally okay. But if he remembers -Like 2ha- then i will drop. I don't know if i explained myself well but thats just my opinion
