the former bc its impossible for aria to push the father while being outsidd the city the next second. i think thats what theyre going for, by utilising ashers power.

It’s the first one, they had reached a place near the border of the Kingdom I think, so it would make no sense for Aria to have gotten there so quickly if she had pushed the count. (This is from what I remember from the novel) but Mielle gets out on trial and found guilty

will the vacation help though? will it be one of those "how did Aria push him down the stairs if she was already this far away with the crown prince?" or will people just be like "going across the border after ur father was pushed down the stairs!? must be guilty!"
I hope the father has enough sense that if he wakes up he'll actually blame Mielle and not cover for her. That is, if Mielle lets him live lol
