this comment is from so long ago but, this is just based from the live action (more than words, which by the way, is really gut wrenchingly good), makki was in a trio with eiji and takagi. makki and eiji end up dating, but in 3 years time, eiji's father went against the two's relationship due to homophobia, and something about eiji not being able to experience the joy of having a child. so then, takagi proposed such atrocity of bearing eiji's child. the three (takagi, eiji, and makki) do the deed. so that's why makki said "our child".. takagi lied to makki about the child being his, but it was also soon revealed that it was, in fact, eiji's. and so makki ends up ghosting the two. it was really unfair for makki hahaha again this comment is so old but do consider watching the live action if the manga confuses you (because it was dropped...) it is soo worth it!

PS: eiji was a 22 years old adult dating 16 year old makki. which personally gave me all the more reason to hate him lol

oh! in my reply, i was talking about the prequel of this manga, so it's safe to say you can read this one. i personally really liked this manga, so i do recommend you give it a read ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ especially if you're a sucker for the "two lonely souls meeting and finding comfort in one another" trope lolzies!
