so basically the novel is composed of the main story (first 500 chapters). and then the epilogue (last 50 chapters?)

DKJ "leaves" at the end of the main story (the reasoning is too good so I won't spoil it lol)
YJH + KDJ Company spend the rest of the epilogue trying to rescue KDJ. The novel ends w/ them opening a door to a room where KDJ is in. It just ends w/o their reactions, so it's up to you to decide if they get reunited or not. Based on the context, I definitely think it was a happy ending, but it's up to the readers to decide.
