That’s what the banana scandal uploader did. She made her account private, so that broke readers like us have a place to stay. It just so happen that the uploader that YD took action had her ig public with tons of follower. I think that’s what made her even more furious, bec a lot of follower means a lot of illegal readers.

It has always been that way here, no mentions of the website in social media platforms etc but this uploader has their IG linked on their mangago & posted photos of their real face there Ofc, he would be easy to track especially bec that author is really famous in hunting illegal uploader/readers. This makes it the 3rd webtoon/manhwa to be successfully removed from this website, which has never happened since I started reading here
Don’t spread false information. She didn’t hired a hitman, she proposed money to find the uploader (he’s not a translator) information to sue him.
And the author has been asking for months to stop uploading her story on illegal websites, she even tweeted that she had suicidal thoughts because of that. But the former and current uploaders didn’t give a fuck about that part and still went ahead and upload her story here.

Yes, that’s what the broke community didn’t know. The uploader linked his other personal account on his illegal IG account, the paying fans saw it and send it to YD. A month ago an illegal uploader was traced in our country by japan, for uploading illegal manga. He was fined in yen and was on the news! Good luck to the uploader if YD will take action.
This website is well designed cause you don't feel like this is an illegal website. They don't have porn pop-ups and the community is 99% most of the time we'll behave and friendly. With time, it makes you forget that what we're doing is here illegal. That's why some teens don't realize that this is illegal cause it doesn't feel illegal like if you're stealing a yaoi book from a book shop.

That was Vietnam scanlation case. They were actually profiting from that. And dared to talk back to author while were kindly asked to stop. There are a lot of things included as well, and that's where author get started to attack everyone in emotional level. Vietnam readers than dragged spanish scanlation group saying author being racist xenophobic, and latina scanlation group get caught and exposed Russian illegal translators as well. Everything went by chain. Everything can be found on author's Twitter since march. Those who are not lazy to find the true can spend some time to make their own conclusions instead of jumping to baseless boycott made up by bunch of "offended" readers.

That was exactly this manhwa Blind Play. Scanlation group were illegally translating it and distributing it on the Vietnamese illegal channel that has a lot of ads through what they made profit. Website still exists but scanlation group got caught and author is doing legal charges toward them. That is why Vietnam side now apologising. I dunno if you had chance to follow authors twitter. There were alot of drama going earlier in april. She was literally posting and begging to not translate and spread her work on illegal websites.
But I cant say illegal, she is right now offending every one literally. even those who showed her that they bought her work. That is why she is currently not in her right mind, more like not mentally stable and it is because of excessive cyber bullying that is going towards her. Why the author of multiple famous works would suddenly do/behave like this, people can't understand the emotional unstable person because they have never been in that person's shoes and readers keep harassing her by defamation and misspelling her words.

The illegal readers are the ones who’s so worked up over this. When the paying fans are the one who reported the uploader to YD. The real issue here is the copyright issue, not YD’s attitude. Stop making the uploader the victim, albeit of how many chapters uploaded, it’s perpetrating others to also do the same. No matter how you look at it the uploader is in the wrong. Regardless if we illegal readers down vote in mangago it doesn’t do anything. I suggest register to lezhin and pay for this manhwa, so you’ll also understand what the author and the paying fans feel. Don’t give me the excuse of “I just read it here first then buy it on the actual site.” Admit it you’re also broke like me.
