Yes, that's true. But people change and I get that what redhead did was wrong. I hated her for that. But she, like most of us, needed that push to better herself - which the MC gives her. So, yeah she did some shitty things but overall, she had a positive character development in a way. I definitely did not ship the bullied with the bully- kind of like a enemies to lovers trope
