Mind you, it’s been a while since I read the novel so if there are some inaccuracies I apologise. Spoilers below!












Those three actually ‘kill’ him after fighting for a while(like stab through the heart kill) but surprise! He has a backup heart, which is the original Shadow Sovereign’s heart. It took a while for him to come back, so Jinwoo’s father had jumped out to protect him in the mean time, using his life force. It was super sad in the novel :(. Jinwoo come back, merged with the shadow sovereign, kills two of them(beastie escapes), but unfortunately jinwoo’s dad doesn’t make it. Idk how far you want to be spoiled so I’ll stop here first.
