Im not sure if this scene is already out, but I can see in the comments that they hate my guy.
In the novel, yes he did kill her, but that was because she asked to atone for the sins of her parents. She was supposed to live in a province, that was what he intended for her, but she didn't want that. Ofc he also didnt want that. But he could never say no to her. Even after her death he only loved her. Even everyone who knew them from before that unless it was her, he would never lover anyone else.
