I don’t get why people need a justification for what the emperor did in their first life. He was an asshole who grew up in a terrible environment, that’s it! But this isn’t their first life and he didn’t grew up that way. It’s like demanding an apology from something they did in their past life even if they don’t even remember living it. Does that even make sense to you????
