Particularly speaking that kind of guy is just the worst when it comes together with romance. That is why I can't bear it if they end up together.

I read in another comment that the reader was disappointed that she finished the novel and it had little to no romance at all.
If it is to be with Alvez, I am GLAD it had little to no romance at all.
But I just don't like him. It's not really a case of whether they're ready for romance or not. I'm not judging him as a potential love interest, I just personally hate him, I don't care if he's a good guy or a bad guy. I hate him and I hate their relationship.
