Him and Rina were doing their thing for MONTHS. Azu went out with him a few times as friends and only towards the end did she express any real intention of acting on his invitations (while she was also very upset). So Junpei can feel hurt. That's natural and the fact that he is hurt is a good thing and shows that he cares. But he has to see PAST that and realise that the situation is not the same as his.
