Forgiveness

Because the emperor doesn't seem like the emperor he knew previously. So he's at a bit of a neutral stance to wait and see. He is still afraid of him though, he just doesn't show it as well since he knows that the worst the emperor would do to him is rape him, he still fears what the emperor might do to those around him

I think it's because he was kind of expecting it. Also I'm always on the badass uke side

I found it strange too. It’s moving along so fast. He’s been avoiding the emperor all his life and he had a panickattack when he first saw him and fainted from fear when the emperor touched his arm. Now he smiles in the emperor’s precede, let’s him carry him and what not. It’s too fast for him to be this relaxed this fast.
