Honestly I usually lean more towards the "I'm an asshole to everyone but you" characters (and I mean I would never go for someone like that irl so I'm fine with crushing on psychotic fictional characters being my toxic trait AHAH~). He's probably my second choice tbh! I've heard some stuff about Eclise so I'm eh about him, Derrick is kind of bland at this stage, and Vinter is interesting but they haven't interacted enough so I'm honestly for Reynold or Prince at this stage. At least our prince keeps things interesting and is a hottie to boot :P
I do 100% agree about the attic scene, my heart BURNED when she said that line about only being a 12 year old girl who didn't even know the value of a necklace and he absolutely deserved that, but the look on his face and how he was feeling about that makes me believe he genuinely knows he is the one in the wrong and I hoep we see more redemption from him. I think part of it is that he started with the lowest % of favorability so I'm like YESSS get higher bby~~ :')
I'm honestly more mad at the older brother Derrick than Reynold because at least I do feel some arguably more reasonable justification with him walking in on Penny essentially saying she hopes their real sister never comes back (I honestly might have reacted like Reynold if I heard that about my missing sibling as a kid myself, who knows tbh), but Derrick probably was just crushing on her and being rude in classic tsundere fashion without good reason based on previous hints, so this turn around from him is just UGH.
EXACTLY. reynold would never be the main love interest but i can't get him out of my mind lmao tsunderes are adorable. i love it when male characters are facially expressive and don't just stand there like a statue
GIRL YES don't even get me started on the *eyes widen* trope, I absolutely love it when a character will do/say something and another character will widen their eyes in shock or surprise or emote really expressively (and luckily a lot of manhwa art styles are often perfect for expressiveness especially in the eyes) and it just makes me feel all fuzzy inside~~
I literally commented earlier today as I just started this series for the first time and I'm already up to date because I could do nothing but read all day. The most refreshing take on a royal isekai manhwa I've seen so far, and not to mention it has the most STUNNING art I've ever see. I took so many damn screenshots of certain scenes, let me tell you I just-ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
Also, I'm not sure where everyone's allegiances lie or which love interest is the most popular in the community, but DAMN do I have a soft spot for Reynold. He's definitely my pick at the moment. I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers when it's done right, and I also think they have had the best scenes together so far. Keeping an open mind going forward (and obviously all our boys are *chefs kiss*), but Reynold is my mans for sure right now!
What about you guys? :D I know more tsundere-type characters like him aren't always popular (and they're usually not my type either), but so far despite the initial misunderstandings (which are essentially a given in this genre) their interactions always make my heart clench and his facial expressions are so emotive. Also, although some may consider the way he treated the old Penelope to be toxic, I actually think the justification was well done in this case with what he overheard her say about his recently disappeared sister. But maybe I'm just a sucker for his beautiful artstyle, so I'm interested to hear what y'all think!
