That is what I'm saying too! Thats so dumb. The part about him being the tutor is so irrelevant plus how could the author conveniently leave out the part about him liking a guy .? This whole time I thought he was straight. It might have made for a better read if he overhead the conversation with Dr.Han from the beginning
I’m also really confused about that. I wonder if he didn’t recall him at all because it was a traumatizing experience for him, hence, dating women versus men? Or he’s bisexual—though, I feel like that is something that also could’ve been disclosed early on by the author. I don’t know. I like this a lot but yeah, the backstory throws me off, I have no idea what to make of it.
