OK I almost forgot this makes me feel like Palace of Bardo Like that manga the difference is that they both reincarnated and he does have knowledge of what he said and stuff like that so that one’s more like a redemption and really what the fuck arc but that one is quite different in multiple ways but the other like basic sense of it feels the same except the top has no idea he has no idea
I understand your point cuz we have the same views of him but others don't tho. They see him as the continuation of the old one when in fact that was supposedly the future. And basically, will not happen anymore cuz YeoDam already made precautions to not let the same thing happen again. The rebirth was actually not a redemption for the emperor but more for YD to live the way he wanted to. It's his choice now whether he wanted to be entangled with the emperor or not. He's not forced, he has his own free will now. Even the emperor can't do anything if he said no. Everything's about to happen will be in YD's hands.
I know that everybody will have their own point of view and that’s fine I’m just putting my opinion out there and properly concretely putting it in the text so I can understand my own thoughts and do hope some people might find this helpful in my like this conclusion and think the same
Because in reality the past ml never happened not anymore at least he only lives inside the mc’s memories now like if you never had the proper precautions even then you still would’ve not been exactly the same so I’m just saying it’s nurture versus nature I’m not saying that he’s not violent or anything it’s that he’s more understanding that I am violent and that’s not always good and I have to think before I act
I also ranted because some people were mad that the MC was turning into the basic trope letting go of all his trauma and on caring about the non-call that happened to him bitchy MC style and that not it
it’s the fact that he himself cannot view the Ml now like the one that he knew because he isn’t it’s more like they share the same face I think he (ml) would be horrified if he knew of the things he went through
OK so I just read this all the way from the start so I have feelings my first feeling is that I cannot really view the past life him is the him right now for multiple reasons one he’s not rebirth he does not know absolutely anything and it feels like the way that he acted was more like a nurture then basic self so I think he is probably a little high when it comes to the violence streak because he’s strong and he knows that and it’s not that easy to kill him because you know but otherwise I can’t feel them the same
Because it was clear that all that could be fixed recently I also have quite a lot of questions though I like the fact that he had a bunch of concubines and it looks like the empress thing does that mean he went through the marriage ritual with the last check but he just called the empress and stuff like that that’s right right that means he probably did see her closer to his equal and he liked her a lot meaning that he really was to the last him like a portable pocket you know what what the hell
Also even though I cannot deal with the same idea how they can be related in the same way and how they cannot like in someway they make it seem like this is a continuation from his past life when it’s not I’m talking about the ML like clearly not the same person I am in capable of seeing at the same I feel like without intervention proper intervention able to stay the same because as I said before it’s rearing in nurture not nature
