I don't really mind but maybe the romance could be a turning point for her. You know..every cliche. Falling in love -> their thoughts and nature would change. Then the character development you wanted- there.

this could be just me but i feel like the author doesnt deserve any romance at this point. the knight is wayy too good for her she needs some serious character development rn
